Bar Sugar

Bar Sugar is the hardest operational sugar around. Besides being the typical occupant of the kitchen sugar bowl, it is the most used sugar in home cooking. When a recipe calls for sugar, it, by default, implies Bar Sugar.

It is finest of all the types of granulated sugar. It is obtained after the processing of superior varieties of ripe tropical sugarcane.

Applications: Bar Sugar dissolves much faster than ordinary crystal sugar, it is significant in special applications. It is ideal for textured cakes and meringues, as well as for sweetening fruits and iced-drinks. In fact, this sugar makes most vegetables taste better, and it also keeps them green when they are cooked.

Bar Sugar is an important ingredient in most stir-fries, as it brings out innate flavors.
