Shandy Gaff

Use a large Bar glass.

Fill half the glass with Porter and half with Ginger Ale.

It is also made with half Ale and half Ginger Ale.

In England a Shandy is typically any kind of beer topped up with what is called "lemonade". In fact this "lemonade" is a fizzy soda not unlike Sprite (USA). You would ask the  bar tender for a "lager shandy", or "bitter shandy". The mixture would be half beer, half "lemonade". At the bartender's discretion or customer request, the "lemonade" portion could be little more than a splash.

Yes, it's a girly drink.
